So, let’s dive in…

Embrace single-tasking

That’s something serious! Multi- tasking generally works for low level tasks like cleaning the house or laundry. But when it comes to high-level tasks like running a business, multi-tasking is not at all recommended.

Tips for single-tasking:

  • Choose a single task that is important today and brings you a step closer to your goal.
  • Apply all your focus to that particular task for a certain amount of time.
  • Try to eliminate distractions.

Put your phone on airplane mode

We know that it is a big distraction while being productive.  An Instagram scroll of a few seconds turns into an hour of mindless viewing and liking. Later on, we feel guilty for the time wasted. Rest assured, the world will be there when you return from your task at hand. In case of emergency, people will surely find a way to contact you.

Rest like a princess:

So, what comes to your mind when you think about your physical and mental health?

Hydrating yourself, eating the greens or working out?

All these are important but don’t forget about one crucial thing:

SLEEP!

A good night’s sleep is underrated…

Getting a blissful sleep will bring more productivity to your body and mind than Any-Other-Single-Element.

If you sleep better, you feel better and work better.

Prepare your to-do lists at nights.

Why? Because the first thought in mornings is about what you have planned for the day and what all needs to be done today!

T0-do lists to be prepared the night before.
To-do Lists are the best!

Give it a thought… When you have the to-do list ready, you are all set to kick start the day.

The act of writing things down is itself a life-changing habit. So, what are you waiting for?

Meditate, to enhance focus and productivity

Meditation helps in maintaining focus, deal with anxiety, and improve creativity. Consider it as a little-meeting with yourself.

At first, meditating was difficult for me. But I promised myself to do it at least for 21 days (It takes only 21 days to develop a habit, right?).

Practicing it daily at the same time increases the benefits. I prefer to do it in morning and I have shared the same in my morning routine.

Prepare a Budget.

And yeah, stick to it too.

As they say, “A budget is you telling your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went.”

Don’t fall for things like “I don’t budget because it’s too restrictive, I can do it in my head or I make too little.”

You would be able to spend your money guilt free and say goodbye to the debt burden on your back. If you are currently having some, I recommend this technique for debt repayment.

Budgeting is not about restriction. In fact, It’s about control. It is a step towards the financial freedom.

Daily Affirmations.

It takes less than 2 minutes each day and have such a positive impact on your mood, mental health as well as confidence level.

Practice these affirmations daily for best results...
Yes, I am having the best! 🙂

Therefore, I recommend repeating 2-4 positive affirmations in the mirror each day, combined with a beautiful smile for the perfect experience.

For example, I am great. I am smart. I am perfect and I am enough. What do you love about yourself the most? Make a list of all those things. Refer to them at times when you get self-doubt.

Socializing: Another #GirlBoss Skill for Productivity

A boss babe can be an introvert or an extrovert. But we do realize that being a human, some form of social interaction is much needed. (Even the most introvert ones).

A Psychology Today research study indicates a link between happiness and social interaction. According to it, socially connected people are happier.

Do some Charity

It not only benefits the charities and institutions, but can be rewarding for you as well. It feels so good and strengthens your core personal values and belief.

The National Institutes of Health state that people who make contributions to charity have activated pleasure centers in their brain. They are happier people.

Walk 15-20 Minutes Everyday

Walking is one of the best workouts. Let’s face it…W-O-R-K-O-U-T is such a heavy word for us, but walking is simple. Just get up and keep moving! Try to walk outdoors. Spending time with nature is an antidepressant. Be it in morning or on a lunch break, make it a habit to spend some time outdoors. The fresh air outside of the four walls of your house or office is such a vital element of life.

Stay Curious

A boss lady is always on a learning spree, and not through the traditional college education. Learning and exploring through new experiences, podcasts or books. She is always keen to try something new and observe the world through her own lens.

“Make the rest of your life, the best of your life.”
